Melia Bali is a beachfront resort in Nusa Dua characterized by tropical gardens, lagoon-style pools, and a low-rise architectural language. Solune developed a lighting design proposal aimed at reinforcing the resort’s relaxed yet refined hospitality identity. The concept balances architectural expression and landscape sensitivity, ensuring that illumination enhances the spatial experience without overpowering the natural setting.

The lighting strategy focuses on warm, layered illumination across key public areas, pathways, façades, and landscape elements to create a calm and welcoming nighttime atmosphere. By carefully integrating functional requirements with atmospheric intent, the proposal establishes a cohesive lighting direction that supports guest comfort, highlights material textures, and strengthens the resort’s overall visual character.
